The video work "22/2/22" depicts a couple's relationship filled with feelings of dependency, anger, and distance. Throughout three scenes shown simultaneously, a third character moves from being a bystander, to intervening as a supportive force, to holding the room and functioning as a channel of communication. The couple is trapped in a repetitive dynamic of attachment and escape, a longing for closeness alongside difficulty in bearing it. The presence of the third character as an emotional-divine force of observation, empathy, and compassion embodies the couple's need to create distance and observation to enable change, upliftment, and communication within the crisis.
